At Allied, we’ve been committed to the environment from the start. We’ve voluntarily implemented a number of initiatives like recycling all asphalt and using energy efficiency lighting throughout our headquarters.
As an industry leader, we’ve always banned the use of coal tar because of its carcinogenic content. Now the State of Minnesota has followed suit, implementing a full ban on coal-tar seal coats throughout the state. As part of that effort, the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency has provided a list of pledged contractors and more info about the ban here. We’re proud to be on the list
